Clinical Precision Over Quick Fixes

The body holds its own story and true refinement begins not by forcing change, but by understanding it with intention and expertise. Every body treatment is preceded by a clinical assessment that evaluates body composition, skin laxity, tissue health, and realistic outcome potential.

Common questions about

Body Department

Is it painful?

+

Most patients describe the sensation as mild pressure rather than pain. Topical numbing is applied beforehand and the discomfort during the procedure is usually manageable and brief.

Can stretch marks be completely removed?

+

No. Stretch marks are a form of scar tissue and cannot be fully erased. However, their appearance including colour, texture, and depth can be significantly improved, especially with early treatment.

How many sessions are required?

+

Most patients begin to see visible contour changes after 2–3 sessions. Final results are typically assessed 6–8 weeks after the last session, once tissue response has fully settled.

Are newer or older stretch marks easier to treat?

+

Newer stretch marks (red, pink, or purple) respond better to treatment as the skin is still in an active repair phase. Older white or silver marks can still improve but typically require a longer treatment course.

Will I regain the weight after stopping?

+

Weight regain after stopping any GLP-1 medication is a known possibility, particularly without sustainable lifestyle habits in place. This is why the treatment at Therefore I'm is paired with guidance on nutrition and behaviour.
